Nyokum Yullo

Significance:
A major agrarian festival of the Nyishi, Nyokum is celebrated to honor the land and ask for a good harvest. The name comes from “Nyok” (land/earth) and “Kum” (togetherness), and it involves rituals, dances, and community feasts. In February 2025, a joint celebration was held in Boasimla, a town in the Kamle district.
