Brief Description about the Department/Organisation

The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM), is Nodal agency for implementing Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods (DAY-NRLM) under Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India.
It is an autonomous body registered under the Society Registration Act of 1860 under the aegis of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The ArSRLM embodies the principles and vision of NRLM while keeping in mind the unique features of the State.

Key Function of Department/Organisation

The function of the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) is to reduce poverty by enabling rural households in Arunachal Pradesh to access sustainable gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities.
It achieves this by building strong grassroots institutions of the poor through social mobilization, facilitating access to financial services, knowledge, skills, and markets, and by implementing sub-schemes of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) like Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana (DAY-NRLM) and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY).

Organisational Structure & Contacts:

Structurally, ArSRLM comprises of State Mission Management Unit (SMMU) at State Level, District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) at District level and Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) at Block level to cater to the requirements of rural areas across the State.

As of Kamle District District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) is the nodal for reporting at District level which comprises of 5 (Five) Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU), Gepen, Puchigeko, Tamen-Raga, Kamporijo& Persin-Dollungmukh.
